Most courses further to the Basic Assessment are run by the County on behalf of the local associations where it is not possible to be run locally, and/or where it requires specialist tutors. The courses are organised and run by the local association sharing the work.
The courses are mainly aimed at providing further training regardless of whether you wish to take the associated Assessments or Examinations. However, pleased be warned that if you wish to take any of these Assessments or Examinations that you must first have passed the Basic Assessment,
There are two distinct further training approaches to meet a personal preference, although many progress both. Husbandry is the more practical approach, and includes Assessments at the members own hives for those interested. Modules is the study approach and includes Written Examinations for those interested.
